‘Birds Nest Fern’

Asplenium sp.

A tropical fern with long, broad and leathery foliage with wavy edges.

Further care tips

The Birds Nest enjoys a relatively humid position but unlike most ferns, it will still do very well in dryer conditions. It also  does very well in most lighting conditions, though not in direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist but not overly wet – don’t water too much! When watering, avoid the centre of the rosette to prevent rotting. Fertilise occasionally during spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser.
